Home is not everyone's safe place.
For some people in our community, their home is a place of tension or violence. If you or someone you know is experiencing Domestic Violence during this time, there are still options and organizations that you can access. Follow the steps below and know that you can live a life free from violence.
The Family Resource Centre is a member of the Alliance to End Domestic Violence. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, there are options and steps you can take to be safe. We continue to provide crisis intervention and safety planning support for anyone in the Cayman Islands. Contact us at 949-0006 or frc@gov.ky for additional support.
There are key agencies working through these times to support people who are experiencing domestic violence. If you are in an unsafe situation or if you would like more information about the services available to you, you can reach out to the agencies listed here.
The Family Resource Centre is available by phone between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. If you are experiencing domestic violence and would like to discuss your options, create a safety plan, or are in a non-emergency domestic violence situation, you can contact us at 949-0006. In case of emergency, always call 911.
